Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema affects the pediatric population very commonly. Food allergy can be implicated in hard to treat eczema. we offer food allergy testing and treatment.
We are seeing a rise in the prevalence of food allergy in our pediatric patients and the answer tends to be multifactorial - genetics plays a role, less wholesome diet with more preservatives, the delay in the introduction of high allergy foods in our pediatric patients and the hygiene hypothesis. Although we do not have a cure at this time- we join Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) in the goal of educating our patients and keeping them safe.
